Circuit Builder: Series & Parallel Circuits

Drag components onto the workbench, click terminals to wire them together, and match each target circuit. Grade 8–10 · conceptual circuit topology, not a physics simulator.

Actions
Click any two terminals (small circles) to connect them with a wire.

Tip: click a terminal, then click on the grid to lay down a wire path point-by-point, then click the destination terminal to finish — just like drawing on paper. Or click straight from one terminal to another for an automatic connection. Drag a part's body to move it, click it to select it. Click a wire to delete it. Click a switch to flip it open/closed. Delete/Backspace removes a selected part.

All 8 Challenges Complete! 🎉

You've built series circuits, parallel circuits, and circuits with switches controlling single branches. Great work understanding circuit topology.

How to Play

Step 1 of 5 — Add parts

Click the toolbar buttons above the workbench to drop parts onto the canvas. Every challenge tells you exactly which parts and how many you need (see "You need" under the target diagram on the left).
