How to Round to the Nearest 100

Look at the tens digit (the second digit from the right).
2
If tens digit is 5 or more → round up to the next hundred.
3
If tens digit is 4 or less → round down to the same hundred.
Example 1
5 4 3
Tens digit is 4 (less than 5) → round down
543 rounded to nearest 100 = 500
